We Are Excited That You’ve Chosen a Cottonwood Farms Puppy!

We take great pride in our beloved puppies! Our role as a breeder is to provide these puppies with their best possible forever home, with committed owners, where they will be treated like family members. This is what the temperament of the breed requires. All of our puppies are adorable and loving, and each one has their own temperament and personality, that will make them suitable for different families and environments.

Our puppies are sold as pets only, and we require them to be spayed/neutered by 12-18 months. Do you agree?

Do you understand that Doodles are a high maintenance breed and will need frequent brushing and professional grooming every 6-8 weeks?

I understand and agree that my $400 reservation fee is non-refundable. I am not guaranteed my puppy of choice or gender of choice; however, I understand that I can defer my place in line ONCE and add myself to a future reservation list.

Do you understand that Doodles are an active breed and will need daily exercise, multiple times a day?

I understand that the timing of litters is uncontrolled, as well as a successful pregnancy. We are not able to control the timing of heat cycles. We also have the right to cancel a reservation due to the best interest of the parents involved (the health of our parent dogs is paramount to having a litter.) In the event a reservation list is cancelled, I will be given other upcoming options. Heat cycles and timing is not guaranteed.

Puppy selection is done around 7 weeks once temperament testing has been completed. Once I choose which puppy will be the best fit for my family, I agree to pay the remaining balance before picking up my puppy.

I understand that puppies must be picked up by 8 weeks of age. If unforeseeable events occur that delay me from picking up my puppy, I agree to pay an additional $40 boarding/training fee per day.

Do you understand that puppies are difficult for the first year of their life and will require you to adjust your personal life to accommodate their needs?

I am aware that puppies can have certain common ailments upon coming home. Urinary tract infections, parasites, ear infections, and allergy issues are all common. While we routinely deworm and monitor for potential infections, sometimes the stress of leaving the breeder causes issues to flare up. I understand it will be my responsibility to treat and care for my new puppy (including these treatable illnesses) once they leave the breeder.

After 2 attempts to contact a client, if no response is had after 2 weeks, you will be removed from the reservation list.
